The making of the vision and mission of Bejon Desai Foundation

Bejon Desai Foundation is an organization which firmly believes in the uniqueness of each individual. Even the roles and responsibilities assigned to each team member is well thought of and is decided based on the strength and inherent capabilities of that member.

Each member of the Management and the Facilitators gets an equal opportunity to express his or her views and suggestions. The views are considered and incorporated by taking a consensus.

The process of formulating the Vision and the Mission of BDF was no different. The Management and the facilitators spent considerable amount of time in intense discussions and contemplation to think about the Vision and the Mission. This was a very collaborative activity with a deep thought process to lay down the Vision and the Mission with a very practical yet futuristic view.

The Vision and the Mission of BDF speaks for the philosophy and the thought process of the Foundation, which has now got ingrained in all the members of BDF, where each team member takes efforts and lot of pride to live by the Vision and the Mission.

We cannot ask others to do something until we do not follow it ourselves-this very thought forms the basis of the Vision and the Mission of BDF. It also acts as a source of motivation for each member to work on oneself relentlessly.
