Shilpa is a happy-go-lucky person deeply dedicated to her children, home and research. Along with a graduate degree in commerce, she has completed a B.Ed course and a 1 year Teacher-Learner program with Gilda Mathews. As a student, Shilpa was very active in sports, having competed in Badminton and Professional diving at the college and district levels. Extremely passionate about children & education, she was the leading person to organize various children’s camps while working with ILEAD @ Nashik. Starting a kindergarten and school based on the Integral education
philosophy, to provide the right environment to children to express themselves in the most natural manner, has always been Shilpa’s dream. Mentored by Amma(as known by all her students) who was a philosophical guide and teacher to Shilpa, she started a journey of self-discovery through principles not very different from Mother’s. Since then she has attended multiple workshops arranged by Sri Aurobindo Society in Puducherry. Blessed with a endearing Smile; Caring, compassionate, warmth for all persons around her, motherly figure, utterly sincere and down to earth are some core values that describe Shilpa. She has enthusiastically partnered with Manoj in building up both the foundations from scratch. Her research enables the foundations to design the interventions in an effective & pragmatic manner, bettering the lives of all the stakeholders.
She stands as a pillar of strength for both the foundations.
